Dan Brier concentrates his practice on the full range of complex civil and criminal cases relating to fraud, RICO, theft of trade secrets, clergy abuse, employment, health care, false claims act matters, criminal tax, financial crimes, lender liability and class action litigation. He represents both companies and individuals in investigations, in trials and on appeals.

Dan has been honored by his peers every year since 2005 as one of Pennsylvania’s Super Lawyers. He was nominated to a three-year term as a Hearing Committee Member of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. For more than ten years he has enjoyed the highest ranking available from his peers in the Martindale-Hubble Law Directory. Dan is a court-approved mediator for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the Court of Common Pleas of Lackawanna County. He is also an arbitrator for the National Association of Securities Dealers.

Dan is a graduate of the University of Scranton and Georgetown University School of Law. Prior to forming Myers, Brier & Kelly, LLP in 1995, Dan was associated with Schnader, Harrison, Segal & Lewis, a national law firm headquartered in Philadelphia.
