Robert T. Kelly speaks at Washington Nonprofit Legal & Tax Conference

Scranton, PA—Robert T. Kelly, Jr., a partner at Myers Brier & Kelly in Scranton, recently spoke at the 50th Annual Washington Nonprofit Legal & Tax Conference. Bob and his co-panelist, Christopher Sia of the Manhattan-based Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, analyzed the increasingly complex regime of excise taxes and penalties applicable to Private Foundations.

“The Washington Nonprofit Legal & Tax Conference is one of the nation’s premier educational events for non-profit executives and the professionals advising them. I am honored to have been invited to serve as a faculty member for the past three years,” said Kelly. “The conference presents a unique opportunity to discuss emerging trends with the nation’s top non-profit advisors.”

Honored by his peers annually since 2005 as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, Kelly has authored numerous articles and lectures regularly at local, state and national tax and non-profit conferences.
