Brian J. Levy

Brian Levy concentrates his practice on complex civil litigation and white-collar criminal defense and investigations.  He advises and represents individuals and business entities on matters ranging from general commercial disputes to issues unique to the energy and natural resources, and healthcare industries.  Brian is a valued team-member on commercially and personally sensitive matters, including internal corporate investigations, high-value real estate tax assessment appeals, and the defense of individuals and entities subject to highly sensitive civil and criminal investigations.

Brian has significant experience in the environmental insurance claims industry.  Brian has served as insurance coverage and claims counsel in complex long-tail coverage matters related to contamination at environmental cleanup sites.  He has provided legal analysis and advice on coverage and allocation of loss, lost historical insurance policy archaeology and assessment, environmental liability risk and exposure-based investigations, environmental remediation cost assessment and liability under CERCLA and state regulatory regimes, and novel climate change liability litigation.

Brian covets the pursuit and defense of legal matters in which an entity or individual client unenviably finds its back against the wall.  Brian works diligently, with the collaboration and broad skillset of the team at Myers, Brier & Kelly, to develop and implement strategies to minimize clients’ legal, financial, and personal risks, while working toward their targeted end goal.
