Daniel T. Brier is appointed to United States Court of Appeals Lawyers Advisory Committee

Dan Brier has been appointed to the Lawyers Advisory Committee of the Judicial Council of the United States Court of Appeals for The Third Circuit by Chief Judge Michael A. Chagares. Dan was recommended to the Committee by District Court Judges in the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

The Lawyers Advisory Committee is a select group of attorneys that is tasked with facilitating open communication between the judiciary, attorneys, and the public. It makes recommendations to the Court on local rules and procedures, and discusses matters with the Court that the Committee or the Court believes might improve the administration of justice. It is an important liaison between the bench and the bar with the ultimate aim of achieving, dispensing, and administering justice in a fair, impartial, effective, and efficient manner.
