Nick Kravitz was honored to present for the American Bar Association (ABA) on the topic of Subcontractor Pass-Through Claims alongside Greg Holness, P.E., Managing Director at FTI Consulting, and Ben Westcott, Partner at Andrews Myers, on February 19, 2025.

As a presenter, Nick shared  his own expertise and experience on key legal considerations, common challenges and best practices when handling certain facets of these types of claims, including best practices for subcontractors on handling lien waivers and releases; statutory requirements under the Contractor and Subcontractor Payment Act; escalation provisions; and mediation and early resolution strategies.

The presentation fostered an engaging discussion among industry attendees, highlighting the importance of continuing education and staying informed of the nuances of construction law. It was a great opportunity for all those involved to exchange insights and experiences.
